On Nov 29th, Dave East was forced to cancel his after-party event, which is in Boston on a Friday night as he was allegedly receiving death threats.
The rapper Dave East shares the incident on his Instagram stories. The owner of Icon Nightclub, which is on Warrenton Street, who got two anonymous phone calls from somebody who threatens to shoot him.
It appeared that East was skeptical of the whole situation. So, he was disappointed over the club owner’s actions.
“The club owner to Icon in Boston said he got 2 anonymous phone calls that they was gone shoot me tonight lol so they ain’t let me in the club,” he wrote. “I know one thing, if a nigga gone do that he ain’t calling the club telling them. Sorry to whoever came out to see me and to the owner of Icon you a bozo.”
There was another deleted Instagram post was added to East’s account, “They Said I Was A Risk To The Club And I Had Death Threats So They Wouldn’t Allow Me In. With 500 Cops I Guess They Was Still Gone Shoot The Club Up. God Bless.”
But everything seems fine by now as the Harlem-bred rapper is currently performing in support for his upcoming album. It is called Survival, which will arrive by the beginning of November. So, the 20th track effort featured guest appearances from Rick Ross, Nas, Lil Baby, Ty Dolla $ign, Fabolous, DJ Premier, and Gunna.
Such excitement is arriving at the end of the year. I can’t wait for more new hip hop songs that would arrive soon by other artists too.
