ALL-STAR WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTING DR. DRE TO SHOW TRIBUTE TO KOBE BRYANT || LATEST HIP HOP NEWS AND RUMORS

The National Basketball Association had a plan to show solemn tribute to the late legend, Kobe Bryant. All-Star Weekend proved the application of this plan by the NBA. Lots of artists were into showing their earnest respect to the legend by their heartwarming performances.

The American artist, Dr. Dre was also on the list of honoring Kobe as per the latest hip hop news and rumors. NBA recruited this artist to create an amazing performance referring to the legend and in collaboration with Gibson Hazard and Jack Bannon. The performance was mainly a 2 minute long video clip, featuring Kobe’s career. The soundtrack was playing in the background with Dr. Dre creating music in rhythm.

The NBA All-Star MVP Award got renamed to Kobe Bryant MVP Award and it is a perfect match as Kobe himself won this award four times in his career. Such a true form of respect, right? Dr. Dre ended his tribute performance in the NBA All-Star MVP Award by the sampling of ‘Woman to Woman’ to ‘California Love’, playing in the video’s background.

Commissioner Adam Silver said β€œKobe Bryant is synonymous with NBA All-Star and embodies the spirit of this global celebration of our game,”. He told this at a press conference on Saturday. β€œHe always relished the opportunity to compete with the best of the best and perform at the highest level for millions of fans around the world.”
