Famous American actress Lauren London, best known for her performance in her movie “ATL”. Recently, I came as a guest on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch show, Red Table.

Lauren London talks about gun violence and raising black children while she is on the show.
Nipsey Hussle, who passed away recently, was gunned down over a year ago. Outside his own Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles. Leaving behind their son Kross and the partner of six years.

As she talks about how gun violence affects more people and women like her.

As she continues, “I love to meet people that Nip has really inspired, it feels like he’s still here. It’s like his purpose, he’s touching people still”. “I find that when I run into people who tell me how he’s changed their life, what they’re doing with their life right now, it fills me up. He would have loved to hear that. When my kids are there and my kids hear it, they’re proud. Those are always very special moments”.

She explained how tragedies like these have a devastating impact on families. Going through this it brought her closer to God. “That’s been a struggle, because something horrible happened in your eyes and you’re like, ‘Why God?’”.

“I don’t always wake up on the enlightened side of the bed and the days I don’t, I let myself.” “Because I’m human. I’m not always gonna feel so, ‘I’m gonna be okay.’ I don’t and that’s okay too.”

She speaks up about raising two children on Red Table, the other son that she shares with Lil Wayne, how she faces about being black and dealing with police.
