The Canadian record producer and songwriter Noah 40 Shebib better known as 40. Recently, in an interview Rolling Stone express his opinion on the diss song “The Story of Adidon.”
He says that Pusha T crossed the line and went too far while rapping about his MS condition.
“I guess all I’ll say that was just a different thing for me,” 40 said. “Different than a bar that he gets off. No real comment I made my comment, It was National MS Awareness day.” As he says about the diss song “The Story of Adidon” dropped by Pusha to diss Drake two years ago.
“OVO 40, hunched over like he 80 – tick, tick, tick/ That man is sick, sick,” Pusha rapper, mocking 40’s Multiple Sclerosis disease.
Moreover, 40 shared that he felt like ‘sh*t’ when he heard the line for the first time. “Like sh*t, for sure. Like sh*t,” he said. “Ultimately, I like turning things into positive situations or brighter sides”. “And if that brings awareness to my disease on a bigger level, I was happy about that”. He also said what happened was a good thing for him, as it’s like a transaction of different perspectives.
When asked if Pusha went too far with the lyrics; he responds, “Of course. That was something different than a bar song. That’s cool, I barely know that guy.”
Noah 40 Shebib also worked with Drake and while on tour with him, 40’s health was deteriorating and he got hospitalized.
Besides, he also shared a few words on The Weekend’s ‘Take Care’. He said people are giving him too much credit for the album.
