As we are all waiting eagerly for the new hip hop songs of Pop Smoke’s posthumous album on June 12. But the wait will be a bit longer as the artist decided to postpone his release to July.
The head of Pop Smoke’s label, Steven Victor, announced that the album will be out on July 3rd. They are pushing back the release of the album considering the recent situation. As protests are taking place following the murder of George Floyd.
Moreover, Steven said on Instagram that “Given recent events, we have decided to delay the release of his album out of respect for the movement.” Despite there’s good news that a new song “Make It Rain” comes out This Friday, June 12 featuring a guest who is not revealed yet.
However, you can watch the trailer for the album which features a preview of Pop’s remake of 50 Cent’s classic song ‘Many Men’. On top, 50 Cent will be serving as the executive producer for the New York rapper’s posthumous LP.
On top, his single ‘Dior’ reached the top 5 on Urban radio and achieved platinum status this week.
