Big Sean is making a huge impact with his star-studded new album Detroit 2. The new album Detroit 2 is the sequel of Big Sean’s Detroit from 2012. That album features Eminem, Lil Wayne, Post Malone, Travis Scott, Wale, Young Thug, Jhene Aiko, Nipsey Hussle (on the standout ‘Deep Reverence’). and many more are included.
So, today we have the first week sales projections of Detroit 2. According to HDD reports that Detroit 2 is expected to move 125k copies in first week. It’s currently looking at the #2 spot of the billboard 200 for next week.
As Detroit 2 and Tattle Tales first week sales projections by the look of it we already know who is going to have the number 1 position on Billboard 200. As of right now, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s sophomore album Tattle Tales is expected to 150k units which gives him the lead. The albums feature appearances from Nicki Minaj (on ‘Trollz’) and Akon (on ‘Locked Up Pt.2’) among others.
However, the publication does note that the numbers could more than usual this time around so we would have to keep a close watch on the tallies.
Besides, in comparison, Sean’s last album I Decided moved 151k in unites in the first week, debuting at the top spot of the Billboard album chart.
